With the advent of the global COVID-19 pandemic many consumers are attempting to up the nutritional quality of their diets. Here’s a preview of healthful ingredients from two SHIFT20 expo exhibitors.
Comet Bio’s Arabinoxylan prebiotic dietary fiber, Arrabina, will be center stage in two live webinars during SHIFT20. Visit the Comet Bio virtual showcase to sign up for the webinars.
- From 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT on Monday, July 13, Comet Bio founder Andrew Richard will discuss the result of a recent clinical trial exploring the prebiotic’s digestive tolerance.
- From 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT on Tuesday, July 14, the company will provide a demonstration of how Arrabina functions in product applications.
On both Monday and Tuesday, the company will offer product samples to the first 25 visitors who share their contact information. Options include a keto-friendly prebiotic protein puff, a prebiotic brownie mix, and a supplement made with Arrabina and live probiotics.
Earlier this year, Comet Bio, which developed a novel process for extracting nutrition from food system waste, was selected by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) as a participant in its 100+ Accelerator program. Building off AB InBev’s 2025 Sustainability Goals, the 100+ Accelerator partners with companies considered capable of delivering breakthrough advances in sustainability. Comet Bio was one of 17 companies chosen from among 1,200 applicants.
“Savoring a mindful world” is the theme for Biorigin’s SHIFT20 virtual showcase. The company will highlight its natural flavors, yeast extracts, and derivatives.
Biorigin will demonstrate its ingredient applications in two webinars accessible via the company’s virtual showcase.
- “Biorigin Natural Solutions for Plant-Based Diets” is the theme for the webinar from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. CT on Monday, July 13.
- The “Biorigin Natural Solutions for Sodium & Sugar Reduction” webinar will take place from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, July 14.
Information from hundreds of SHIFT20 exhibitors will be available for six months following the conclusion of the live virtual event.
