Olga, I think that has been one of THE highlights of my term in the IFT Office of the President.  It has been humbling to hear from so many students and young professionals who told me that I and my career is what convinced them that they wanted to become food scientists.

Great talk to kick off SHIFT20 Day 2! Proud to be part of the Space Food Team, and serve the "niche" population with slim margin :)

Great opening to day two. I'm a Food Technologist today because of space food from the Apollo missions. I was in 7th grade and I had my mom buy Space Food Sticks and from that point on I wanted to learn how to make food that could go into space. I've never worked on space food but I've had a great 40 years in the food industry.

I am sorry I tuned in late for this session. It was great to see Michelle back in her leadership role. We shared many common interests in advanced processing and packaging technologies
