CFS & Other: How many CEU are awarded for attending the Virtual event? What programming counts? What certifications do the CEU's apply to?
Up to 22 Contact Hours may be listed for attending the virtual event.
In order to obtain contact hours for IFT20 you need to have an individual registration. Accounts are individual and sharing accounts is prohibited.
All sessions count for CFS contact hours. CFS Certificants may claim a maximum of 22 CH for their participation in scientific and technical symposia and poster sessions related to the CFS Content Domains.
IFT is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) accredited provider (IN141) with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), and provides a special certificate to Registered Dieticians and Dietetic Technicians seeking CPE units for participation in the IFT Annual Event and/or IFT Short Courses. Attendees will self-report their session attendance.
This programming also meets the requirements for the Research Chefs Association Certification Commission guidelines for acceptable continuing education for certification renewal purposes for Certified Research Chefs and Certified Culinary Scientists.
Members of the Product Development and Management Association may also receive Professional Development Hours toward their recertification as New Product Development Professionals. Sessions marked with the Product Development track are eligible.
