COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE CONTACT INFO
Make sure your email is updated in your profile. To do this, click on the arrow in the top right of your screen. Select > Edit Profile > Contact Details > Public Email. Don't worry - your email will ONLY see seen by logged in attendees. Your profile is not available to the public.

Once you've updated your email, you will now see a CONTACT button on your profile. When you see that button on another attendees profile you can reach out to them via email.

FINDING ATTENDEES SHIFT20
Attendees are located here: https://shift20.iftevent.org/directory/attendees. You can search, filter, and follow attendees from this page. NOTE: to search for attendees, use the search field located below the main event site search box at the top of the screen.

CONNECTING AND NETWORKING WITH ATTENDEES VIA THE EVENT SITE
There are many ways you can engage with fellow attendees in the event site. They include:

1. EMAIL - Navigate to an attendee’s profile and click on the contact button to send them an email
2. VIDEO CHAT - Navigate to an attendee’s profile and invite them to a “Video Panel” (aka video chat). When you do the system will send them an email invitation to accept or deny to connect with you
3. SESSIONS - On many of the scientific sessions pages you will see a small circle with a “+” sign in the top session title area. Click on this circle and you will be presented with links to each of the speakers’ profiles. You can then link to the respective profile an email/video chat them from there.
4. SESSIONS – at the bottom of each scientific/professional development session and featured session, there is a comments area where you can share thoughts, insights, and feedback on the particular session.

BE SOCIAL + PARTICIPATE IN DISCUSSIONS
As you explore the site, be sure to follow, like, and comment on sessions, posters, news posts and in IFT Rooms. This helps to make your profile more robust and also helps the profile engine to surface other attendees with common interests so you can “follow” them and add them to your network.

Many of SHIFT20's live sessions, event and room have the ability for you to comment. Be sure to take part in discussions in the webinar chats and ask questions during Q&A.
