Nutrition and Labeling Needs
What is the biggest challenge your R&D teams face in their nutrition and labeling needs?
Anyone have a sunny disposition?
I'm looking to connect with other researchers (both public- and private-sector) who have an interest in sun drying and/or solar thermal technology. There are a few posters on this topic in the TRP, but I'd like to coalesce a group to elevate the profile of these technologies and enhance collaboration in this area. Possible outcomes include a session at next year's Annual Meeting and coordinated research projects. What are your interests in solar thermal technology and/or direct sun drying? If you already work in this space, what are your challenges? (P.S. - "Solar Thermal" = sunlight to heat, different from PV, which is sunlight to electricity.)
Food security and COVID-19
What do you consider that developing countries governments can implement to prevent malnutrition? Will people die because of unaffordable food or because of the virus? Can agroambulance or food banks be a solution of adequate distribution of food?
Sensory Science and COVID-19
How is sensory science facing the new actions that have been taken regarding COVID-19? And what are the alternatives that are being applied to do the sensory analysis?
food industry and the COVID-19 pandemic
Do you think the food industry is responding well to the COVID-19 pandemic? What are companies doing to manage the situation within the production areas?
Where are you on the NPD journey?
Are you full steam ahead with new formulations, still catching up on projects that were paused or delayed, or focusing on core competencies ? Are you back in your labs?
Organic food industry
So far, I haven't heard discussions regarding specifically certified organic food. It is a necessary component to a sustainable food future, and the consumer demand continues to grow. Is organic a priority for you and your company, and if not, why?
